Shooting Investigation

- Adult Male – Life Threatening Injuries
- Adult Male – Non-Life Threatening Injuries
Details:
On Sunday March 15, 2020 at approximately 10:05 PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Alexander Street in reference to subjects who came out of the residence while armed with firearms. Witnesses in the area called into 911 dispatch advising that they heard several gunshots in the area.
As officers and paramedics arrived at the residence, they located an adult male outside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics provided medical attention to the male before transporting him to a local hospital where he was listed to have life threatening injuries.
A short time later, another male arrived at a local hospital who was transported by private conveyance suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency room physicians provided medical attention to the male where he was listed to have non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are speaking with any possible witnesses to determine if the males were shot inside the residence or outside the residence. At this time, there is no suspect information and no arrests have been made.
Investigators are canvassing the area to see if anybody may be able to provide information to assist them with their investigation. Crime Scene Technicians are on the scene documenting the scene while collecting evidence. The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking anyone who may have information to assist them with the investigation is asked to contact the detective bureau at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP.
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
