Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Sunny this morning, slight chance of rain this afternoon

(March 5, 2020) – A mix of sun and clouds today with a passing shower this afternoon. It’ll be a bit breezy today as well. Temperatures cool down tonight to around 30 degrees after highs rose to the upper 40s to mid 50s today. With the entrance of the cooler air lake effect snow is likely into Friday with accumulations up to an inch possible mainly on grassy surface and the best chance of that occurring the closer you are to the lake. A windy day is expected on Friday with gusts rise to between 25 to 35 mph over land, but near the lake, it could gust to or perhaps even slightly surpass 45 mph at times. The high winds will lead to waves between 10 and 14 feet and lake shore flooding and erosion is likely.
