Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Wintry conditions continue
(February 6, 2020) – Untreated roads will be slippery for the morning commute, so make sure to allow extra time to reach your destination and slow down. Periods of light snow and freezing drizzle will taper off through the day. Additional snow accumulations will be light (1” or less) with greatest chance for accumulations in NW Indiana and far SW Lower Michigan. Temperatures will only climb slightly, reaching the upper 20s to around 30. Light snow will move back into location south and east of US-24 late tonight with anywhere from a dusting to 1 inch of snow possible. A reinforcing shot of cooler air arrives Friday and Friday night to bring some lake effect snow showers to the area. Exactly what areas will see the snow remains uncertain, but amounts should be light.
