Larry Montreal Briggs
(December 31, 2019) – On December 30, 2019, at about 14:05 hours, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted reference a shooting investigation located in the 3000 block of Central Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. Larry Montreal Briggs, male black 27 years of age, from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, was found down in the 3000 block of Central Drive and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Positive identification has been made and contact was made to the next of kin. An autopsy has been completed. The Cause of Death has been determined to be Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Larry Montreal Briggs is the 29th homicide in Allen County for 2019.
This incident is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
