Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Two sunny days sandwiched by low precipitation chances
(August 21, 2018) – Numerous showers with some embedded thunderstorms will continue this morning. Some pockets of additional heavy rain and localized flooding are possible today, especially this morning along and east of the Interstate 69 corridor. Breezy conditions will develop today behind a cold front. The breezy conditions will also lead to life threatening waves and currents, and a High Swim Risk for Lake Michigan beaches today. Drier air will continue to build into the region tonight setting up a stretch of mainly dry weather for Wednesday and Thursday. Below normal temperatures can be expected through midweek behind this cool front.
