Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Hot and humid today, then rain
(May 29, 2018) – One final hot and humid day on tap for today. There is just a slight chance of an afternoon shower or storm, but most places will remain dry until late tonight.
As the post-tropical remnants of Alberto move northward into the region, look for widespread showers and a few thunderstorms late tonight through Wednesday night. The heaviest rainfall is expected along and west of U.S. 31 Wednesday afternoon and evening. Some isolated minor flooding is possible with the higher rainfall rates and amounts. It will be cooler with highs only in the lower to middle 80s on Wednesday due to the thick clouds and rainfall.
