Game recap from the TinCaps:

TinCaps Walk Off to Win Fourth Straight
By Cory Stace

(May 19, 2018) – The TinCaps walked off on a line drive to center field from shortstop Gabriel Arias to win, 5-4, in the bottom of 10th inning against the South Bend Cubs (Chicago Cubs) on Saturday night in front of a season-high 7,559 fans at Parkview Field. With the win, the TinCaps extended their winning streak to a season-long four games.
Fort Wayne (19-22) started the bottom of the 10th inning with first baseman Jalen Washington at second. Left fielder Robbie Podorsky laid down a sacrifice bunt to send Washington to third. The next batter, center fielder Jeisson Rosario, was intentionally walked to send Arias to the plate with runners at the corners and one out.
Arias lined the first pitch he saw back up the middle to center field to score Washington and give the TinCaps the 5-4 walk-off victory that came in come-from-behind fashion.
South Bend (17-23) led 3-0 at the stretch thanks to a run in the first, another in the third, and one in the sixth.
In the home seventh, two singles and a walk loaded the bases with one out for right fielder Jack Suwinski who lined a two-run single to right field to score catcher Luis Campusano and third baseman Luis Almanzar to cut the Cubs deficit to 3-2. Campusano finished with a game-high three hits.
With two outs in the inning, second baseman Justin Lopez scored on a throwing error from South Bend third baseman Austin Filiere to tie the game, 3-3. Later in the inning with Suwinski at third and Podorsky at first, the TinCaps executed a double steal to earn their first lead of the night, 4-3.
It wasn’t over yet, however. With two outs in the top of the ninth, South Bend equalized with an RBI double from Jhonny Bethencourt to set up for the extra-inning dramatics in the 10th.
Right-handed Jared Carkuff, who entered for the top of the ninth, held South Bend off the scoreboard in the road 10th. LaPorte, Ind., native Evan Miller, a former Fort Wayne Mastodon, preceded Carkuff with 2 2/3 scoreless innings to lower his season ERA to 0.60.
