Podorsky, a 23-year-old from Prairieville, Louisiana, who was drafted by the Padres in the 25th round last year out of McNeese State, was with the TinCaps during the Midwest League Playoffs last year. See today’s forthcoming Game Notes for more information. Fort Wayne opens up a three-game series at home tonight against the South Bend Cubs at 7:05 p.m.
