The Historic West Main Street Farmer's Market's 10th Season

News release from the organizer of the Historic West Main Street Farmer’s Market:

Historic West Main Street Farmer’s Market 10th Season

(April 7th, 2018) – The Historic West Main Street Farmers Market is celebrating 10 years of serving the Fort Wayne community with fresh local produce with our season opening on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 3-8 PM at 1936 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. The market is owned and operated by the Nebraska Neighborhood Association. The market will continue to provide area residents the very best in local produce, Indiana produced foods and local arts and crafts with a renewed emphasis on the following:

  1. A venue for any local non-profit that serves our community to set up a booth at no cost and interact with a very loyal and conscious consumer group.
  2. Promotion of local performing groups, musicians, and artists who create and enrich the cultural environment of Fort Wayne.
  3. Acceptance of SNAP/EBT and WIC vouchers through the HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living) program – a jointly funded partnership between Parkview Health and the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation to provide positive health outcomes in Allen County.

We expect 2018 to be a great year at the market and look forward to seeing our community on Friday’s throughout the summer along the Historic West Main Street urban corridor!
