News release from the Embassy Theatre:
Summer Nights at the Embassy launches May 24
Wednesday night entertainment series returns for second season(May 17, 2017) – Single tickets for the second season of Summer Nights at the Embassy are now on sale to the general public. The entertainment series takes place every Wednesday for 15 weeks (May 24 to Aug. 30).
“Our first season of Summer Nights quickly became a Wednesday night destination. We welcomed more than 2,500 guests last summer,” said Kelly Updike, executive director, Embassy Theatre. “We continue to expand beyond music. We conceived a showcase of regional artists across multiple art forms. Each night is designed to be a relaxing chance to savor summer in the Embassy’s two-level ballroom. It is the best of both worlds; entertainment in the ballroom and soaring views of Fort Wayne’s skyline from the Parkview Health Rooftop Patio.”
The 2017 Summer Nights at the Embassy series includes musical performances, team trivia, hands-on crafts, salsa dance lessons and a moderated community discussion. Local restaurants will rotate weekly with menu items available for purchase and a cash bar. Tabletop and backyard games will be available for groups to enjoy at their own pace.
Summer Nights at the Embassy will take place every Wednesday night, May 24 through Aug. 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $5. Purchase tickets at the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy, ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800.745.3000.
