Embassy Theatre presents Mother’s Day brunch, and Mary Poppins’

(April 3, 2017) – The Embassy Theatre presents its first Mother’s Day Brunch in the Ballroom. The holiday buffet, catered by Club Soda, is Sunday, May 14. Advance tickets are required and are on sale now. Brunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Guests will dine in the ballroom, a two-story space that spans the sixth and seventh floors of the former Indiana Hotel. Renovations to the ballroom were completed in 2016. The space includes access to the Parkview Health Rooftop Patio, with sweeping views of the downtown skyline.

Following brunch, a Mother’s Day matinee of Disney’s “Mary Poppins” will be available at 2:30 p.m. in the theater. Set in London, the classic movie stars Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins, a magical nanny who enlightens the lives of everyone she meets. The cast includes Dick Van Dyke.

Tickets for Mother’s Day Brunch in the Ballroom are $25/adult, $15/youth (12 and under). Seating is limited. Advance purchase is required. Movie ticket sold separately.

Tickets for Disney’s “Mary Poppins” movie are $10. Movie ticket does not include brunch.
