Maumee Mary & Joseph Comedy Festival Family Events

(March 23, 2017) – The Inaugural Maumee, Mary, & Joseph Comedy Festival is next weekend!!! Join us March 31, April 1, and April 2, 2017 in Downtown Fort Wayne as we come together for a fun-filled weekend of hilarity. We will be bringing the best local, regional, and national talent to the Summit City to tickle your funny bone.

On April 1, 2017 there will be Free Family Events at the Downtown Allen County Public Library!!! Festivities will start at noon with a Family Friendly Improv Comedy Show from the creators of Dudesical and Kerpatty!

From 1pm-2pm, Children 8-16 will be able to participate in an Improvisational Comedy Workshop, conducted by Jon Colby from Dudesical.

There will also be Comedy/Magic from Clint Spahr, Jerry Armstrong, The Mizpah Shrine Clowns, and Komets mascot Icy the Eagle!

At 2pm children ages 8-16 will be invited to compete in the Kid’s Comedy Contest and perform for the crowd and our celebrity judges.

Rounding out the ACPL events will be an Adult Improvisational Comedy Workshop and an Adult Sketch Writing Workshop. Both events will take place from 3pm-4pm.

There will be a Food Truck Food Court set up outside the Library on Wayne St featuring Big Apple Pizza, King Arthur’s Trolley, and Ragin’ Cajun!
