Indiana Conservation Officers Investigating Possible Drowning in Allen County

(February 13, 2017) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a possible drowning that occurred on February 13, 2017 at approximately 9:47 a.m.

A white male was found floating in the St. Joe River and was recovered by the Fort Wayne Fire Department near 5522 Old Dover Blvd.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the name when positive identification has been made and notification of next of kin has taken place.

The Fort Wayne Police Department and TRAA assisted at the scene.
