NWS: Warm up into the weekend

Tonight's NWS Weather Story for February 9, 2017.

Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Warm up into the weekend

(February 9, 2017) – High pressure will be over the region tonight. Mainly clear skies to start out tonight will help to drop temperatures to around 9 to 19 degrees F. As the night progresses, sky coverage will be on the increase. Then mainly cloudy skies will be in store for Friday as a warm front moves through. This front will begin much warmer temperatures for the region into Monday, with highs peeking out on Saturday. On Saturday, a high pressure off of the southeast coast and a low pressure approaching from the southwest, will help usher in some moisture. Therefore, rain is in the forecast for Saturday night into Sunday morning as that low pressure system passes through. Then conditions will be dry post low pressure system for Sunday night into Monday. For the latest forecast for your location, visit www.weather.gov/iwx.
