News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, Woodford Drive
(October 2, 2016) – A fire was reported by the occupants of their home in the 5000 block of Woodford Drive Sunday morning. Upon arrival the Fort Wayne Fire Department found heavy smoke and fire coming from the attic of the home. It was confirmed that all occupants and pets had escaped the house. The fire was brought under control in 43 minutes. The Red Cross is assisting the family. The fire is under investigation.
