USF Recognized on Best Regional Universities List

(September 27, 2016) — According to US News and World Report’s “2017 Best Regional Universities” rankings, the University of Saint Francis is ranked at number 79 among Midwest regional universities.

The rankings are based on several key measures of quality including graduation and retention rates, assessment of excellence, faculty resources and student selectivity. Scores for each measure are weighted as shown to arrive at a final overall score. More information about the rankings can be found at www.usnews.com/colleges.

“This ranking is representative of the work of our excellent faculty and students,” said USF Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Andrew Prall. “Being recognized among the Top 100 Midwest Regional Universities is an accomplishment that reflects the quality and value of a University of Saint Francis education.”

Founded in 1890 as a comprehensive university in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the University of Saint Francis offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs through the School of Health Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership and School of Creative Arts.
