NWS: Scattered showers/cool temps continue

Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Scattered showers/cool weather continues
Few isolated thunderstorms possible before sunset

(September 28, 2016) – Cloudy skies, scattered showers and cool weather continues as an upper level low pressure system rotates nearby the region. A few thunderstorms are possible before sunset with small hail, lightning and heavier rain being the main threats, but strong to severe thunderstorms are not expected.

Cloudy skies and cool weather looks to continue into the first part of the weekend before the upper level low pressure system moves away from the region by later Saturday or during Sunday.

Believe it or not, these forecasted high temperatures are near the climatological average for this time of year.
