Do you know how waterspouts form?
(September 28, 2016) – Conditions are favorable for the development of waterspouts through tonight on Lake Michigan. There were already two waterspouts observed off of St. Joseph, MI this morning.
Check out the attached graphic for the science of waterspouts. If you observe a waterspout, please share reports/photos with the NWS and the International Centre for Waterspout Research.
