Scattered showers this evening
Cooler, less humid air arrives Sunday
(August 20, 2016) – Scattered showers will continue across the area this evening as a cold front pushes east through the area. Shower chances will diminish from west to east through the late evening hours, with mainly dry conditions expected after Midnight for most of the area. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s. Cooler and less humid conditions finally return to the area Sunday, with highs in the low to mid 70s. There is a slight chance of a rain shower or possible storm, mainly in the afternoon along and north of US-6. A high swim risk continues along Lake Michigan in Berrien and LaPorte counties through Sunday, with strong currents and high waves expected. Stay out of the water if you plan to travel to the beach on Sunday!
