Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Rain chances increase Monday
Heavy rainfall possible Monday afternoon through Tuesday
(August 14, 2016) – A frontal boundary stalling across central Indiana today will continue to provide a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly along and south of the US Route 24 corridor. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy skies can be expected today with high temperatures in the 80 to 84 degree range. There is a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight across the south. On Monday, an upper level disturbance lifting out of the lower Mississippi Valley will spread rain and embedded thunderstorms northward across the area. Showers and thunderstorms are expected from Monday afternoon into Tuesday with some heavy rainfall possible during this period. High temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will be limited to the mid and upper 70s due to the influence of cloud cover and rainfall.
