News release from INDOT:

Overnight Lane Restrictions Planned for I-469 in Allen County Monday, August 8th
Highway will be restricted to one lane in each direction between mile marker 20-23

(March 31, 2016) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that overnight bridge maintenance will begin on Interstate 469, between mile marker 20 and 23, on Monday, Aug. 8, weather permitting. Work will include bridge deck repairs over the Maumee River and U.S. 24.

Motorists can expect the road to be reduced to one lane in each direction overnight, between the hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., while work is completed in both the northbound and southbound lanes. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active construction zone.

Work on the bridges is expected to be complete by late September, weather permitting. The repair of the I-469 bridges over U.S. 24 and the Maumee River is being done in combination with bridge repair on several structures across the Fort Wayne District. The combined contract was awarded to R.L. McCoy for $530,000.
