Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Isolated storms possible this afternoon and evening

(July 30, 2016) – Breaking waves and strong currents are being reported along parts of Lake Michigan today, mainly near Michigan City and along Indiana Dunes. Remember to heed warning flags and steer clear of the pier if you go to the beach today. For other areas, expect afternoon temps around 80 with isolated showers and storms. Some of these storms could produce heavy rain and some gusty winds, especially east of I-69. Dry conditions expected tomorrow but some clouds will remain.
