(July 19, 2016) – Mild and dry conditions are expected tonight with lows generally in the 60s. Heat and humidity will begin to build for the middle and latter portions of the week however. High temperatures by Thursday are expected to reach around the 90 degree mark, and into the lower to mid 90s for Friday and Saturday. Peak afternoon heat index values are expected to reach into the 95-105 degree range each afternoon from Thursday through Saturday. Low temperatures Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights are only expected to drop into the mid 70s providing little relief from the heat. In addition to the dangerous heat and humidity, there are low chances of thunderstorms through much of the remainder of the week.
