Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Hot weather ahead
Storms ending, becoming hot and humid

(July 18, 2016) – Thunderstorms approaching severe levels are possible south of a line from Monticello to Wabash to Ottawa, Ohio. Storms are expected to end by late afternoon as a high pressure area builds into the region. Much warmer weather is expected later this week with hot and humid conditions expected Thursday and Friday. Highs by the end of the work week will top 90 degrees with heat indices 100 to 105 Friday afternoon. There is a small chance for storms Wednesday night and Thursday; otherwise conditions are expected to be dry.
