Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Fair weather again today
(June 30, 2016) – High pressure will provide fair weather again today with temperatures and humidity a bit below normal. A cold front will move through the area tonight and early tomorrow morning bringing a chance of thunderstorms, followed by clearing and cooler temperatures. Brisk north winds behind the front will likely cause high waves and rip currents at northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan beaches Friday, resulting in dangerous swimming conditions in Lake Michigan. High pressure will build in Saturday providing another fair weather day, followed by a chance of thunderstorms on Sunday and the 4th of July as the frontal boundary stalls out over the Ohio Valley and a weak low pressure system moves east along it.
