Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
The week ahead
(June 19, 2016) – A cold front will be passing through the area tomorrow and tomorrow night which will give the area a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center has about half of our County Warning Area in a slight risk for severe weather with roughly the other half having a marginal risk. Main concerns with any severe storms will be isolated large hail and damaging winds.
Temperatures will then cool down after the front moves through with the rest of the week on the relatively cool side.
Then the next chance for rain will occur Wednesday into Thursday as a low pressure approaches and moves through.
