Expect Morning Traffic Delays on Illinois Road
Motorists May Want to Find Alternate Route(June 13, 2016) – The outside, eastbound lane, of the 5000 block of Illinois Road is closed due to asphalt issues that may be related to a pipe below the road. The lane restriction is on the far south side of Illinois between Lawrence Drive and Reckeweg Road.
Safety crews will mark dig-locations tonight and City Utilities crews begin digging after rush hour traffic in the morning. Excavation may require both eastbound lanes to close and that’s why crews will wait to dig until after morning rush hour traffic.
Motorists who travel east using Illinois Road may want to use an alternate route Tuesday morning.
