Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Slight risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday
(June 14, 2016) – Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into this evening, mainly west of I-69. Another chance of showers and thunderstorms will move into the area from the west overnight into early Wednesday morning. There is a marginal risk for severe weather along and west of US-31 through tonight, and an isolated strong storm cannot be ruled out, however widespread severe weather is not expected. Lows will drop into the low 60s to low 70s across the area. Heat and humidity will once again build across the area on Wednesday. Highs will reach the low to upper 80s. This will provide fuel for additional shower and thunderstorm development Wednesday afternoon and evening. There is a slight risk for severe weather, with damaging winds and large hail the primary threats. Stay tuned for the latest information.
