Free Block Party Downtown to Celebrate Fort Wayne’s Hobnobben Film Festival!

(June 13, 2016) – Fort Wayne Cinema Center invites the public to a free downtown block party to celebrate the inaugural Hobnobben Film Festival in downtown Fort Wayne.

The free block party takes place this Friday, June 17th, at the Arts United Center Plaza, 303 East Main Street, from 5pm to 11pm. Attendees can experience live music and a free movie. Concessions will be available for purchase and include a custom Mad Anthony’s “Hobnobben Brew”, Rudy’s Wine Slushies, Bravas, and more! At dark, the Richard Linklater film “Dazed and Confused” will be screened for attendees. In addition, Pedal City will have two large party bikes bringing festival-goers to the Arts United plaza.

The inaugural Hobnobben Film Festival features more than 40 films over four days at three Fort Wayne venues – the Fort Wayne Cinema Center, the University of Saint Francis Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, and the Parkview Physicians Group Artslab Black Box Theatre. In addition to films and free downtown block party, there will also be filmmaker panels, an awards ceremony, and so much more!

There are several options for film fans including individual tickets, six-pack ticket bundles, a one day pass, and a festival pass. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.Hobnobben.org, at the ArtsTix Community Box Office (303 East Main Street) or at each venue during the festival. Tickets are also available by phone at 260-422-4226.

All Tickets for Hobnobben Screenings and Events are managed by ArtsTix. Physically located in the Arts United Center on the downtown arts campus, ArtsTix is operated by Arts United in partnership with local arts organizations. The ArtsTix box office at the Arts United Center will be open Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00 PM.
