Cooler temperatures through Wednesday
Heat returns this weekend, t-storms possible Thursday PM

(June 7, 2016) – Cooler temperatures will impact the area tonight and Wednesday. Lows tonight will drop into the 40s to low 50s across the area with skies generally clearing through the overnight. Mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures are expected Wednesday, with highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s. A warming trend will begin Thursday, with highs in the low 70s to around 80. Shower and thunderstorm chances will also return to the area Thursday afternoon and evening. These chances will continue through Saturday as the warming trend continues. Highs on Saturday are expected to be in the upper 80s to lower 90s across the area. Dangerous currents and waves continue across southern Lake Michigan this afternoon through early this evening.
