Isolated severe storms possible this afternoon
Breaking waves and currents for parts of Lake Michigan

(June 1, 2016) – A few hazards to be aware of today. First, showers and thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon. There is a marginal risk for severe weather, mainly east of I 69. This means that isolated severe storms are possible. Additionally, there is a moderate swim risk for beaches along portions of Lake Michigan. This means that breaking waves and currents are expected. Wave heights will range from 2-4 feet with gusty west winds. Rip currents were already reported at Warren Dunes this morning.
