Shooting Investigation
Date/Time of Incident: 5/31/2016 at 12:30 AM
Location of Incident: 6600 block of Pawawna Drive
Victims:
- Male Critical Condition
- Three (3) Females Good Condition
Details:
On Tuesday May 31, 2016 at approximately 12:30 AM officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a residence located in the 6600 block of Pawawna Drive in reference to a shooting investigation. As officers and paramedics arrived on the scene, they located two victims inside the residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided medical attention to the victims before transporting them to a local hospital where a male was listed in critical condition and a female was listed in good condition.
A short time later, two additional female victims arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds as they were listed in good condition.
Investigators advised that several individuals were inside a residence when someone or more than one person fired gunshots into the rear of the house from outside. All individuals that were shot were standing inside the residence. At this time, investigators are attempting to collect additional information from witnesses to assist them with their investigation. There is no suspect information and no arrests have been made.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
