2016 Annual June Family Concert: SCI-FI FACTORY FIASCO

(May 16, 2016) — Fort Wayne Dance Collective presents its annual June Family Concert Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7 pm in the South Side High School Auditorium, located at 3610 S. Calhoun St. Fort Wayne, IN 46807.

This year’s production entitled SCI-FI FACTORY FIASCO, is an original story-dance written by Artistic Director, John Byrne. The year is 2050. New leaders have taken over Earth and exhausted the planet’s natural resources. No Oil. No Coal. No Gas. Aliens invade Earth and rename it “Mobiturn.” Aliens teach surviving humans how to bring the planet back to life and create renewable energy by…dancing! In this evening-length performance, see the students of Fort Wayne Dance Collective’s School of Movement Studies and Creative Process, and special guests from our many outreach sites perform stories of love, betrayal, friendship and even alien battles in this science-fiction themed dance show, SCI-FI FACTORY FIASCO. Join us for this year’s June Family Concert and find out for yourself…Can Mobiturn be saved?

You may purchase your tickets in advance by calling 260.424.6574, or online at fwdc.org. Seating is general admission. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. Cost: $15 adults, $13 students.

The mission of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective is to inspire and empower people of all ages and abilities through movement and rhythm.
