News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Drug Raid, Westwick Place
On May 18, 2016 The Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotic Division served a search warrant for ongoing narcotics trafficking in the 8000 block of Westwick Place in Fort Wayne, IN. During the search of the residence 2 adults were found in the residence with (40) 15 mg Morphine tablets, (6) 30mg Morphine tablets and $1,788 in US currency found in the attached garage.
Only one adult was charged with the following:
Joseph Winston age 76
- Dealing in a Narcotic Substance 2 Counts Level 5
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6
This investigation is closed at this time and the FWPD does not expect any further arrests in this case.
