Clearing, then dry tonight
(May 5, 2016) – High pressure will be ruling the area through Friday night. After some scattered sprinkles late this afternoon into early evening, tonight will be dry with mainly clear skies and lows around 40 to the lower 40s. Warmer day on Friday with sunshine and temperatures in the lower 70s. The dry conditions continue through Friday night; however showers and thunderstorms return on Saturday as a surface trough moves into the region. Saturday night this trough moves out of the region ending the showers and thunderstorms. Dry conditions return for Sunday as a ridge is in place and precipitation is expected to stay to our south.
