More rain on the way
Tonight through Wednesday night:
- Forecast rainfall amounts = 0.25 to 0.50
- Isolated thunderstorm possible, but not severe
- Accompanied by windy conditions Wednesday
(May 3, 2016) – A cloudy and cool day will be in store for the region. There will be a slight chance for some light showers to develop across portions of Northern Indiana this afternoon into this evening, but rainfall amounts should be light. The clouds will help keep highs only in the 50s.
Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies will linger tonight, with temperatures falling into the lower to middle 40s. Some peeks of sunshine are expected Tuesday, before the next chance for showers arrives Tuesday night across NW Indiana and SW Lower Michigan, spreading southeast into the remainder of the area Wednesday. Highs will be in the 50s to middle 60s both Tuesday and Wednesday. Even warmer temperatures will be on tap by the weekend with highs well into the 70s.
