USF Graphic Design Students Win AdFed Competition

(April 14, 2016) — For the third year in a row, a group of University of Saint Francis graphic design students have won The PITCH, Fort Wayne Advertising Federation’s annual marketing competition.

The winning Design and Presentation team members from USF were Allie Herendeen, Justin Moss, Zack Kittaka, Lauren Bertke, Lia Geiger, Rachel Weaver, Kelsey Martin, Elle Hey, David Leemreis and Heather Paynter.

Their campaign, designed for the Women’s Bureau, was recognized for its strong concepts, dynamic visual elements and cohesiveness. After many hours of practice, they overcame the competing teams and were awarded the victory, which included a check for $1,000.

“We are so proud of these incredibly talented graphic design students,” said USF Graphic Design Program Director Alan Nauts. “This competition is a great opportunity for students to learn what it takes to create a successful campaign. We’re thankful to the Fort Wayne Advertising Federation for sponsoring this event and to the Women’s Bureau for being such a wonderful client.”
