Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Cool with showers through Monday
Dry with a warming trend Tuesday-Saturday!
(April 10, 2016) – Low pressure moving east across Ontario and the upper Midwest will cause warmer air to surge northeast into our area today. Scattered snow showers will transition to rain showers this morning as the warm front associated with this system moves through.
Rain showers will become widespread across our area by this eve as the cold front approaches.
Rain will continue south of U.S. Route 24 Monday with dry conditions to the northwest.
Fair weather will dominate our area Tuesday as the front moves southeast and high pressure builds into the Great Lakes.
This high will stall over the region through the remainder of the week resulting in generally clear skies with temperatures warming above normal by late week.
