NWS: Winds subsiding, snow diminishing

 

 

Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Winds subsiding, snow showers diminishing
Cold tonight, but warming up a bit on Sunday

(April 2, 2016) – Snow showers will continue to diminish overnight with an additional dusting of snow possible. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy. Be alert for slippery roadways overnight as temperatures drop to around 25 degrees with some icy or snow covered roads. Winds will continue to decrease to around 10 to 15 mph by daybreak. Temperatures will warm up a bit on Sunday, with a sharp temperature gradient from west to east across the area. Skies will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 40s across south central lower Michigan and extreme northwest Ohio to the upper 50s west of US-31.
