Science Central offers camps for children and extended hours during Spring Break

(March 14, 2016) – Registration for Science Central’s spring break camps is now open and will offer children the opportunity to get “up close and personal” with a number of interesting science topics including weather, reptiles, and color among others. “Camps have always been an exciting time at Science Central,” said Martin S. Fisher, executive director of Science Central. “We keep our camp sizes small and they appreciate the hands-on, interactive nature of our programming.”

Additionally, Science Central will extend its hours during the week of April 4 to accommodate area residents and visitors on vacation. Science Central will be open Monday, April 4 through Saturday, April 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from noon to 5:00 p.m.

 

Spring Break Camp Info
Who: Children ages 5 to 11
What: Science Central Spring Break Camps
When: April 4 through April 8, 2016 (Camp check-in is at 8:30 a.m. and end-of-day check-out is at 4:00 p.m.
Where: Science Central, 1950 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne
Cost: $25/members per day or $30/non-member per day
Registration: Parents may register their child at ScienceCentral.org.

Become a “mythbuster” as you blow apart urban legends and popular beliefs. Use science to test out myths and decide: are they plausible or BUSTED?
