FWPD: Missing Adult Investigation

 

 

Updated from the FWPD: The missing has been located in the Chicago, Illinois area staying with friends. Fort Wayne police are no longer actively investigating this incident.

News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:

Missing Adult Investigation

(March 10, 2016) – The City of Fort Wayne Police Department is currently searching for a missing adult. Christian Dewayne Porter is an 18-year-old male/mixed race. He was last seen at his residence located in the 6700 block of Tennyson Place at approximately 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Tennyson Place is located in the northeast quadrant of the city in the area of Maplecrest Road and Stellhorn Road.

Christian is approximately 5’9″ tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Christian was last seen wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt with an animated design on the front, and black Nike tennis shoes.

Christian has been diagnosed with Autism Disorder and Asperger’s Syndrome. Investigators believe Christian is in danger due to his medical and mental diagnosis.

Photographs of Christian have been attached to this e-mail. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Christian is asked to immediately contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1222 or simply dial 911.

The Fort Wayne Police Department, Fort Wayne Fire Department, and the Indiana Search and Response Team are all actively searching for Christian.
