News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Drug Raid, McKinnie Avenue
(March 8, 2016) – The Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team along with the FWPD Vice and Narcotics Bureau served a search warrant at 511 ½ McKinnie on the city’s south side in reference to an ongoing investigation into Heroin sales and use.
On January 14th of this year a fatal overdose occurred at this location and on March 3rd of this year another overdose was reported at this address.
During the search of the residence 2 adults were found inside along with 17 grams of Heroin and over $3,000 dollars in US currency. The adults were charged with the following charges:
David Edward Goings male, 34 years old
- 3 counts of dealing Cocaine or other narcotic drug (Heroin) 1 count – level 2
- 2 counts – level 5
- Violation of Federal Probation Warrant – NO BOND
Chris McCue male, 42 years old
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Level 6
- Possession of a Syringe – Level 6
This investigation is an ongoing investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice and Narcotics Bureau.
