Brightpoint taking applications for pre-school program

(February 22, 2016) – Brightpoint (formerly CANI) is seeking applicants for the On My Way Pre-K Program. This program provides grants to qualifying families for high-quality prekindergarten education. Applications will only be accepted until 5pm EST on March 25, 2016.

Interested families may apply online or download a paper application at www.mybrightpoint.org. Grants are available for eligible children who are 4 years old, but not yet 5 years old on August 1, 2016, and who will be attending Kindergarten in the 2017-18 school year. These grants will be good for pre-K programs starting in August 2016. Families must meet income guidelines and live in Allen County only to qualify.

Approved On My Way Pre-K programs may be located in a public or private school, licensed child care center, licensed home or registered ministry as long as that program meets the quality requirements and is registered as an On My Way Pre-K provider. Families may choose from a program that is full or part-day, as well as from programs that end with the school year or continue through the summer.
