Visit Fort Wayne Unveils 360° Virtual Tours

Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 12, 2016) – Visit Fort Wayne has recently unveiled their newest community marketing tool: 360° Virtual Tours of Fort Wayne and our visitor attractions.

Through this new technology, potential visitors can take a virtual tour of Fort Wayne online using their computer, tablet or mobile device.

Viewable at www.VisitFortWayne.com/360, the virtual tours include 360° HD video of our community and attractions, and also include embedded maps, photos, and other videos. Over a dozen major attractions are currently featured in the tour, and more will continue to be added over the coming months.

“We are always looking to expand and improve on the way we promote our city. These 360° Tours are a great way to give people a preview of our attractions like the Zoo or Science Central from their phone or computer,” adds Visit Fort Wayne President Dan O’Connell. “We’ve also prepared 360° Tours of our convention center, and the attached amenities of hotels and Parkview Field, so convention planners can see the capabilities of the Grand Wayne Center before they even visit.”

The super tour, which contains all the featured attractions and venues is featured on our website at www.VisitFortWayne.com/360. Each sub-tour is also featured on their individual listing page. Two examples of these sub-tours include:

Each attraction or venue can use the 360° tour on their own websites as well.

Visit Fort Wayne has been working with Clear Vision Media to shoot and produce the 360 tours. Chris Sanchez, principle partner of Clear Vision adds, “This immersive technology is allowing the consumer to make informative destination choices and buying decisions quicker. Whether you want an aerial panoramic or an immersive street view, these never before options are now available to the consumer. 360° VR technology is not only a reality, but it’s a necessity in travel.”
