News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 4800 block Ridgelane Drive
(February 22, 2016) – Fort Wayne Fire Department units were dispatched to a structure fire in the 4800 block of Ridgelane at 5:17 a.m. on February 22, 2016. Flames were visible from 4 blocks away and 1st arriving crews found the house fully involved with a partial collapse of the roof in the center of the home. FWFD crews protected the homes on each side of the house fire and then began extinguishment.
The home was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
FWFD was assisted by the FWPD, NCE, NIPSCO, AEP and TRAA.
