Sheriff’s Department needs help locating Sex Offender
(February 22, 2016) – The Allen County Sex Offender Registration and Notification Team is attempting to locate Stanley Ray Osborn, M/W/34, for failure to register as a sex offender. While officers with the SORN team were attempting to serve an arrest warrant out of Boone County for a probation violation in reference to three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, it was determined that Mr. Osborne had moved without updating his address.
Officers have filed for an additional arrest warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Mr. Osborne has been seen in the area of Fritz Road in Northwest Allen County. Attempts to locate him have proven unsuccessful. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call your local police department or the Allen County Sheriffs S.O.R.N. office at (260) 449-3074 or (260) 449-8612.
