Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Unseasonably warm temperatures coming
(February 17, 2016) – High pressure moving across the area today and Thursday will provide generally fair weather with seasonable temperatures and just a chance of some light precipitation in the form of freezing drizzle and flurries today.
A low pressure system will move east from the northern Plains across the upper Great Lakes Friday resulting in warmer temperatures in our area, however, brisk winds will temper the warmup.
The unseasonably mild temperatures are expected to persist through the weekend, with conditions transitioning back to near normal early next week.
