Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Mixed precipitation tonight
(February 16, 2016) – A frontal boundary will move southeast through the area tonight, bringing isolated to scattered snow showers this evening. Little or no accumulation is expected. After midnight, cloudy skies will prevail with patchy freezing drizzle and fog possible across the area.
The freezing drizzle may cause slippery areas on area roadways and could cause some issues in spots for the Wednesday morning commute. On Wednesday, the clouds will stick around with temperatures making a run at freezing for most locations.
Somewhat warmer conditions are expected Thursday as the region sees, at least briefly, some peeks of sunshine. This will allow highs to reach above freezing across the area.
Even warmer temperatures are expected Friday with highs climbing into the 50s.
