News release from Science Central:

Science Central hosts touring exhibition on the Science of Motion

(February 5, 2016) – Science Central is pleased to announce the opening of a new touring exhibition entitled, “Roll, Drop, Bounce – The Science of Motion.”

Running now through May 29, 2016, visitors will roll, drop, and bounce to investigate kinetic experiences and expand their understanding of the science of motion. The exhibits will inspire visitors to think up new experiments to try while they explore gravity, Newton’s Laws of Motion, kinetic energy, friction and momentum. Hands-on activities with ramps, loops, air currents and wheels will allow for fun discovery and provide concrete understanding. Design a car, make a roller coaster, and test a helicopter design. “Roll, Drop, Bounce is an active learning laboratory that invites visitors to think and ask questions,” says Martin Fisher, executive director.

The Roll, Drop, Bounce touring exhibition was developed by NRG! Exhibits and will be on display at Science Central now through Sunday, May 29, 2016. Admission to Science Central is $8 for ages 3-64, and $7 for seniors 65 and older. Admission is free for those with a Science Central membership or under the age of 3.
