Women in NAACP to host Black History Month Brunch
Annual event will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016

(February 5, 2016) – The Women in NAACP (WIN) will host its Annual Black History Month Brunch on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Link’s Wonderland, 1711 E. Creighton Ave. Doors open at 10 a.m.; the program begins at 11 a.m.

Our theme is “Revitalizing Our Community for the Next Generation” and our keynote speaker is Cherise M. Dixie, LCSW, Fort Wayne native, Licensed Clinical Social Worker at St. Joseph Hospital, Adjunct Professor at the University of Saint Francis and former City of Fort Wayne neighborhood advocate.

WIN’s purpose and mission includes enhancing the leadership role of women; serving as an advocacy group for issues affecting women and children, and advocating for the positive development of children.

The public is invited. Tickets are $25 each or $200 for a table of eight.
